We are pleased to announce that EuroHealthNet will be one of the Co-Hosts of the Wellbeing Economy Forum 2025, taking place in Reykjavík, Iceland, on May 8–9.
For over twenty years, EuroHealthNet has played a pivotal role in advancing health, social equity, and wellbeing across Europe. Based in Brussels, this partnership brings together over 80 organisations, including national and regional public health institutes, authorities, and research bodies, working collectively to reduce health inequalities and address the social, environmental, and commercial determinants of health.
Caroline Costongs, Director of EuroHealthNet since 2003, has been instrumental in shaping the organization into a leading voice for public health in Europe. Under her leadership, a multidisciplinary team influences EU and national policies, drives innovative research, and builds capacity for systemic change. EuroHealthNet has a strategic Memorandum of Understanding with WHO Europe and is actively involved in key EU advocacy platforms, including the European Parliament Interest Group on health inequalities, risk factors, and prevention.

EuroHealthNet’s role as a Co-Host underscores the Forum’s mission to connect health and wellbeing with economic transformation. Their deep expertise in health promotion, prevention, and equity-based policymaking is vital to the global movement toward a Wellbeing Economy—one that places people and the planet at the heart of prosperity.

We warmly welcome Caroline Costongs and the EuroHealthNet team to Reykjavík in May 2025. Their involvement will ensure the Forum remains grounded in evidence-based, equity-driven approaches—helping us reimagine what our economies can and should collectively deliver.
