Side Events and Marketplace

Side Events

In addition to the main Forum sessions, participants are invited to take part in a selection of side events taking place from 15 to 17 April. From pre Forum gatherings to wellbeing and social activities during the Forum days, these events are designed to enrich the overall experience and create space for dialogue, networking, and wellbeing.

Pre-Forum Events: April 15

Pre Forum events are currently being planned for 15 April and will be open free of charge to registered participants of the Wellbeing Economy Forum. This page will be updated as soon as the programme and timing have been confirmed.

 

Side Events on April 16-17

Guided Meditation and Breath Awareness with Lena Brodin

 

Lena Brodin is a certified yoga teacher, E RYT 500, with more than 15 years of teaching experience. She describes yoga as a compassionate and honest way of meeting yourself that can become a way of living more truly in relation to yourself, others, and the planet.

Time: In the mornings of 16 and 17 April before the programme begins. Exact timing to be confirmed.
Location: Silfurberg, Harpa
Cost: Free of charge, but registration is required through a separate form that will be sent to Forum participants.

Wellbeing Walk around Downtown Reykjavík

 

Join well known and humorous Icelandic historian Stefán Pálsson for a historic walking tour created for guests of the Wellbeing Economy Forum. The walk will take approximately 40 minutes and will include several intriguing stories and unexpected turns along the way. It will end at Vesturbæjarlaug swimming pool. Bring a swimsuit if you would like to take a swim or relax in the hot tubs or saunas afterwards.

Time: 16 April, 18:00 to 19:00
Location: Meeting point in front of Harpa
Cost: 1000 ISK. Registration is required when signing up for the Forum. For those who wish to continue to the swimming pool, a special admission fee of 1430 ISK applies.

Marketplace Presentations

​Marketplace presentations will take place during both days of the Forum and will offer guests an opportunity to meet collaborators of the Wellbeing Economy Forum and learn more about their work. Rather than formal presentations, these sessions are intended as informal spaces for dialogue, questions, and exchange. Further information will be added here once the format and participating presenters have been confirmed.
